On March 28, the Wanhua Haiyang Green Power Industrial Park held a ceremony for the commissioning of its Phase I project and the commencement of Phase II. At the ceremony site, colorful flags fluttered, and construction vehicles were neatly lined up. With the pressing of the activation device, it marked a new stage in which this provincial-level major project enters simultaneous operation and expansion. Leaders attending the event included Liao Zengtai, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wanhua Chemical Group, Kou Guangwu, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Wanhua Chemical Group, and Hua Weiqi, Executive Vice President of Wanhua Chemical Group. Liu Jiaming, General Manager of Huayi Engineering, was invited as a representative of an important partner to attend, jointly witnessing this milestone moment in the new energy industry.
The Wanhua Haiyang Green Power Industrial Park covers a total area of approximately 1,850 acres, with a planned total investment of 16.8 billion yuan. It is listed as a benchmark project among Shandong Province's major projects for 2025 and aims to build a world-class lithium iron phosphate cathode material base. With the official launch of Phase I and the full commencement of Phase II, the project has entered a critical stage of capacity release, further consolidating Wanhua's leading position in the field of new energy battery materials.
